For fans of dainty charms, Alex Monroe Tiny Butterfly Necklace features a pink tourmaline droplet.

Alex Monroe, gold tiny butterfly necklace, £120.

Yvone Christa Hortensia Blossom Earrings- the gorgeous Venetian filigree detailing and aqua crystals on these drop earrings make a great addition to any outfit.

Yvone Christa, hortensia blossom earrings, £235.

Whether you're accessorising for work or weekend, these tiny flower studs with pearls are a great choice.

Alex Monroe, tiny flower stud earrings with pearls, £102.

Budget-friendly Estella Bartlett is great for little gifts, this simple pearl necklace looks great layered or worn on its own with a nice blouse and jeans. Estella Bartlett, single pearl necklace, £19

  • Earrings: Big Is Bold and Beautiful

Posted on February 15, 2018 by benna

    The Return of Statement Earrings

Each year, we see trends come and go. Skimming through glossy pages in magazines to see what styles will be dropping in stores, and 2018 is no different, this spring/summer: big is bold and beautiful.

    Keeping It Simple

Slicked hair, brushed away from a preened face appeared to showcase the ears and neck as a canvas, perfect for stunning pieces of jewellery. At Maison Margiela the earrings were simple but elegant, creating a focal point. A beautiful pair from Chanel's S/S 2018 catwalk, a set of pared down drop earrings. The highly polished crystal glistens against the model's face in a spring garden backdrop. Over at Balenciaga, models wore guilded chunky earrings but these shaped crystal drop earrings stood out, they're chunky but not garish.

    Big, Bold, and Elaborate

Saint Laurent's show glittered with countless chandelier earrings but these oversized crystals sparkled amongst them. Asymmetric earrings dominated Burberry's catwalk, but each one shone- big and encrusted with crystals. Models at Dries Van Noten were enarmoured with chunky earrings, some crawled up the ear and others featured clusters of crystal strands that danced and swayed to the rhythm of the model's strut.

One take away is that big is bold and beautiful. Will you be wearing statement earrings this spring?

  • Style me: Chokers

Posted on October 22, 2016 by Rina

How To Style ChokersStyle me: Chokers

    1. Choose a choker style that suits your need: subtle and dainty, show-stopping and opulent, or stand-out statement chokers. There's plenty to choose from since this accessory came back into the spotlight, after all it is an easy piece of jewellery to wear.

    2. Placement makes a difference: some chokers look stunning when floating on the middle of the neck, whilst others draw attention by sitting neatly on along the collarbones. Take your time to try different pairings.

    3. Co-ordinating your choker and OOTD: statement chokers look equally good layered over turtlenecks or bare necks. Opt for a dainty choker or two, you can customize your look by wearing several together for a unique piece or on its own for a barely-there finish. Dazzle with a crystal-encrusted choker to draw attention to plunging necklines, or punctuate a beautifully fitted ensemble.

  • Layer Up

Posted on October 9, 2016 by Rina

As we prepare our wardrobes for the cooler season, let's look to the catwalk for some inspiration on adding some much needed sparkle to our functional outfits.
A reoccurring trend on the catwalk for Autumn Winter 2016-17 was layering necklaces.

Moschino mixed and matched strings of pearls with chunky silver chains.
At Valentino, necks were adorned with multi-chained necklaces featuring burnished silver charms.

Chanel opted for their signature multi-strand pearls over jackets, an elegant classic.
Models strutted down the Alexander Wang runway wearing leather chokers and big link chains for a grunge look.

  • Coachella Throwbacks: Our Favourite Coachella Outfits

Posted on April 11, 2016 by Benna

The festival season is creeping up ever so quickly with Coachella starting just four short days. We cannot wait to see what amazing outfits the celebs will be wearing this year and because we cannot wait, we have decided to look back on past Coachella outfits that had us in awe.
With all things suede, fringing and stacked jewellery, the festival season is one of our favourite times of year. We're looking back on Coachella throwbacks for inspiration for the 2016 festival season.

    Gigi Hadid

Gigi Hadid Coachella Image Source: ASOS

This supermodel knows exactly what to wear during festival season. She is always bang on trend and takes risks that always pay off. Even though both of the above Coachella outfits are entirely different, the one thing they both have in common is that she has not been shy in the jewellery department. She has adorned her outfit with multiple statement necklaces, upper arm bracelets, body chains and long pendant necklaces.

    Alexa Chung

Alexa Chung Coachella Image Source: Raishma

Alex Chung is no stranger to creating the indie look. She is not one to simply dress up indie style once a year during festival season, this is probably the trend that Alexa is most comfortable in. The best thing about her Coachella outfits is that they are super simple which only adds to the ‘cool as f**k’ vibe she has going on. She tends to pair her outfits with one staple piece of jewellery rather than stack like many other festival goers tend to do. She definitely has her own style and we love her for it.

    Margaux Brooke

While we’re on the subject of unique styles, we simply cannot mention Margaux Brooke without talking about being unique. If there is one person people can't wait to see what outfit they are wearing at Coachella, it is Margaux Brooke. Again, her outfits are actually very simplistic with one item of jewellery such as a body chain or statement cuff. She knows her body and what makes it look amazing and that is why her outfits always look so sleek and effortless.

    Kate Bosworth

It really wouldn't be Coachella without Kate Bosworth and her fabulous festival hair and outfits. She is yet another celebrity who makes the festival style look effortless. She doesn't have any particular outfit as she has been seen in the past wearing the good old shorts and tee, play suits and dresses. Her style is unpredictable and so we are incredibly excited to see what she will be wearing this year.

    Jourdan Dunn

We can honestly say that no one gives us greater festival style envy that Jourdan Dunn. Everything from her hair colour to her shoes and from her outfit to her jewellery choices, she does just festival trends perfectly. If you haven't noticed by now, we love all things jewellery which is why we love Jourdan Dunn’s outfits because she is rarely seen without a statement necklace during festival season.

    Alessandra Ambrosio

Alessandra Ambrosio Coachella Image Source: People

Alessandra always seems to go for the more girly look but still keeps it indie enough for the festival season and especially Coachella. We love her cute outfits and really hope she will be attending Coachella this year so we can check out her style choice. She tends to pair a statement necklace with a charm necklace and loves to stack her cuffs and bracelets too as well as stack rings.

  • Fashion Icons From The 90’s That Are Still Killing It Today

Posted on March 17, 2016 by Benna

Can you believe we left the 90’s 17 years ago? Neither can we. Even though it has been 17 years, we can’t help but notice that some of the fashion icons that we loved in the 90’s are still killing it today. Oh yes, we remember the washed out denim look and cami dresses very well. Here are some of our favourite fashion icons that we were absolutely obsessed with in the 90’s for their fashion choices and whom we are still absolutely obsessed with today.

    Johnny Depp & Kate Moss

We all remember the Johnny Depp & Kate Moss days when they were the hot couple in the A-list world. With their matching leathers and effortlessly cool hairstyles, they quite simply rocked the fashion world. We are still heartbroken that these two never got their happy ever after though. Kate was way ahead of the time with her stacking rings which is a hot trend today.

    Kate Moss

Kate Moss deserves a place of her own, after all she did rock the cami dress trend like no other in the 90’s. She always dressed her cami dresses with beautiful delicate yet statement necklaces such as this amazing diamond choker. After looking back at some of her old paps from the 90’s, we forgot how much she actually loved wearing cami dresses. Even today, Kate Moss is still setting fashion trends.

    Winona Ryder

If there was ever an IT girl who knew how to dress, it was Winona Ryder. Her style was always unique to her which is why she was a trend setter and never a trend follower. We love how confident she was in herself to wear what she wanted and create outfits that completely resembled her personality. We are in complete envy of this entire outfit and would certainly rock it today!

    Drew Barrymore

Drew Barrymore was the ultimate flower girl and boho babe in the 90’s. Her 90’s style would certainly not look out of place in 2016. She would rarely be seen without flowers in her hair or wearing denim, it was definitely her signature look. Flowers in the hair and denim are still a very common sight in the summer and at music festivals..

    Jennifer Aniston

We all fell in love with Jennifer Aniston when she played Rachel Green in Friends. She was well known for her fabulous hair with women worldwide trying to copy it. Not only was her hair fab though, she also had great fashion sense. Her style on and off screen had us all green with envy. Even today, women look to her for style inspiration.

This entire film was filled with crazy yet brilliant outfits that inspired us all to get a little more creative with our own wardrobes. From their very unique gym outfits to their cute co-ords, the stylists of this film were way beyond their time. Co-ords are a huge trend right now which is why Clueless still remains such an iconic fashion film.
